Soloists or Small Ensembles (maximum 4 ringers)
- Spend
a weekend (or two days mid-week) at Nancy’s home studying solo or
ensemble techniques in depth, with one-to-one personal attention you
will not find at any other event.
- Coaching,
technical instruction, and materials to take you from wherever you are
to a new level of skill and artistry in handbell solo or small
ensemble ringing, in a setting designed for maximum hands-on learning
and personal attention.
Studying with Nancy Hascall in
a private setting was such an all around awesome experience! From
the moment I stepped into Nancy's home, I felt an immediate sense
of a quality learning environment, not only in which to learn but
to practice. From the exercises to playing my own rep and watching
Nancy's ease of performing was incredibly effective. Nancy is a
highly skilled Master teacher who can take you where you are and
send you onto higher things to work on. The schedule was flexible
in such a way that I could work and play as well as relax and
enjoy her home and company. Time passed too quickly and yet the
things I have taken away from that weekend have stayed with me
ever since. As a solo ringer, I think a retreat with Nancy is in
order for anyone who aspires to develop as a musician and solo
artist."
